On 04.04.2019, the German Bundestag passed the amendment to the Network Expansion Acceleration Act (NABEG 2.0). The law came into force on 13 May 2019.

As a result, all grid operators with connected plants > 100 kW will become part of the future redispatch process from October 2021 – regardless of their own grid congestion. For this purpose, distribution system operators will have to acquire new capabilities in the areas of forecasting, grid condition analysis, redispatch dimensioning, real-time plant control as well as energy balancing, balancing and settlement.

In this project, E-Bridge will advise N-ERGIE Netz GmbH on the content and organization of the implementation.
