Since 2019, our PMO and expert team has been supporting Europe’s Transmission System Operators (TSOs) in the development, implementation and operation of the European balancing platforms. Being part of this journey reflects our strong commitment to make the European electricity system more resilient and efficient.

On 29–30 April 2026, the Steering Committees of MARI, PICASSO and IGCC, together with the Joint Expert Group, met in Prague for two days of focused collaboration. Hosted by the Czech Transmission System Operator ČEPS, the meetings brought together representatives from more than 25 TSOs across Europe, highlighting the importance of strong cross‑border cooperation.

The programme concluded with a celebration of the Capacity Management Function (CMF) for MARI, PICASSO and IGCC, which ČEPS has successfully hosted and operated since 2023.
