Dr. Jonas von Haebler studied industrial engineering in Dortmund, specializing in European Energy Management, and subsequently completed his PhD at the Institute of Energy Systems, Energy Efficiency and Energy Economics (ie³). During his doctoral studies, he focused in particular on the sustainability assessment of electrical energy systems. His areas of expertise include energy scenario development, the regionalization of renewable energies, and target grid planning.

In recent years, Dr. von Haebler has worked as a consultant on numerous projects related to energy systems. His experience spans from the development and regionalization of scenarios and potential analyses to European market and grid simulations, as well as issues related to grid expansion and grid connection.

At E-Bridge, he will apply this expertise in a targeted manner – with a focus on grid expansion analyses, congestion management, and the further development of grid connection processes.
