The challenges for small and medium-sized grid operators are enormous, but can be mastered if they are tackled together and in a structured way. Therefore, we are happy that E-Bridge has started an ambitious §14a implementation project with 50 small and medium-sized grid operators within the framework of the Grid Cooperation Platform. Our kick-off meeting as the first milestone in this project showed the extensive tasks but also the firm determination to achieve our goals together.
- We create a pragmatic and simple solution for the short-term requirements for small and medium-sized network operators.
- We start by answering the question of what needs to be done to implement the requirements from the BNetzA stipulations in accordance with the law, even without foreseeable congestions in the grid.
- For the successful integration of flexible consumers, we define steps for the digitalisation of the distribution grids, starting with the pragmatic implementation of preventive control according to §14a.
- Focus on the needs of both grid operators and their customers and the joint & scalable implementation of the necessary processes and systems (maximum use of cooperation opportunities).
We are excited about working together in the Network Cooperation Platform and look forward to meeting this challenge in a focused way.
