Together with ef.Ruhr GmbH and Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena), we at E-Bridge had the privilege of participating in the 6th Forum on System Stability organized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
The session focused on current topics and the progress of roadmap implementation. Among other things, there were insights into projects on grid-forming converters, information about the blackout on the Iberian Peninsula, as well as an update on the status and experiences with market-based procurement of system services such as black start capability, reactive power, and inertia.
As part of the System Stability Roadmap, E-Bridge is particularly supporting the expansion to include the interaction between market processes and grid operations.
The close collaboration between the ministry, grid operators, associations, and manufacturers is a strong signal. Ensuring system stability is a key pillar for the future energy system and requires technical depth, clear processes, and institutional cooperation.
Many thanks also to Westenergie for organizing the event in Essen.
We look forward to continuing to support this important project and jointly setting the course for a stable and sustainable energy future.
