The energy industry is under pressure: if we want to achieve the climate targets, we need a modern, digital and resilient grid infrastructure. This is exactly what was discussed at the energie.de round table “Digital, efficient, cooperative – the fast track to net-zero infrastructure” – with exciting impulses from the industry.

For us at E-Bridge Consulting, it’s clear:

• Digitalization is a central key to the energy transition.
  
• An early, strategic start is crucial, because digitalization projects are complex and take time.
  
• We need a common digitalization vision with standards, clear interfaces – and a realistic view of how to get there.

During the discussion, our Managing Director Dr. Henning Schuster emphasized how important a holistic approach is – especially from the perspective of network operators, as they are at the heart of many implementation processes and are our customers.

Data is the gold of the future. But for it to be effective, it needs to be collected in a structured way, centralized and made available for intelligent use. As E-Bridge, we support our customers in this process – with strategy, system vision and implementation strength.
