After almost 5 years of close collaboration that involved interpreting the methodology, elaborating the 22 criteria / indicators, developing and running a modelling chain, analyzing the simulation results, and finally writing the report, the Bidding Zone Review has come to a close.

While the project has resulted in the successful delivery of a report, there are very valuable lessons to be learned and passed on to other projects in general and the next Bidding Zone Review in particular. For that reason, we met this week in Brussels for a final lessons learnt workshop with all project partners.
It was great to see so many familiar faces in person – people we’ve been working with closely (mostly virtually!) over the last few years. The discussions were open, constructive, and future-oriented – exactly what you’d hope for after such a complex journey.

As consultants supporting both the Nordic and the Central European Bidding Zone regional reviews, we are proud to have contributed to this very important European initiative. A big thank you to everyone involved for the dedication and constructive collaboration throughout!
