We are delighted to celebrate, together with Syna GmbH, the successful completion of our project to implement an asset management system. Against the backdrop of increasing complexity in network requirements combined with scarce resources, an asset management system is a key instrument for making sound, well‑founded decisions in a systematic way. Alongside achieving certification readiness in accordance with ISO 55001, the primary focus was therefore on practical applicability.
The project started with an Asset Management Quick Check conducted in early 2024. Based on this, we jointly developed a target state that has since been implemented step by step and firmly embedded within the organization.
What does the implementation mean for Syna?
The established asset management system supports decision‑making in particular through:
- Transparent and measurable asset management objectives
- Clear and transparent prioritization
- Systematic assessment of opportunities and risks
- Optimized use of resources
- Continuous improvement of internal ways of working
What was E‑Bridge’s role?
E‑Bridge closely supported the implementation of the asset management system throughout the entire project. In addition to best‑practice experience from our industry background, we contributed our expertise in ISO 55001 requirements, distribution system operator‑specific processes, and project management. This enabled us to support the Syna team as a trusted partner along the entire journey – always exactly where our contribution created the greatest value.
What’s next?
The asset management system has now been fully transferred into the line organization and forms the basis for continuous further development. The next step will be the official certification by external auditors.
