Open until 4 September, 10am CEST, the aim of the Bidding Zone Review consultation is to gather stakeholder feedback on the following subjects:
- Market liquidity and transaction costs
- Transition costs
- Possible measures to mitigate negative impacts of specific alternative BZ configurations
The questions in this public consultation relate to the report on Liquidity and Transaction costs and the report on Transition costs. The responses to this Public Consultation shall be used to finalize both reports, for the assessment on the acceptability of alternative BZ configurations and as input for TSOs to identify practical considerations when deciding on a BZ configuration change.
E-Bridge is supporting Transmission System Operators in both the Central European region and the Nordic region, in their respective regional reviews. Within CE, which involves Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark West, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy North, Luxembourg, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, The Netherlands, and Switzerland, we provide project management services, support the Steering Committee, and lead both the Bidding Zone Task Force, and the Modelling Task Force. Within the Nordics, which involves Denmark East, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, E-Bridge acting as external project leader for the Bidding Zone Review.
