The energy transition is not a sprint – it’s a marathon. With the “Fit for the Energy Transition” program, N-ERGIE Netz has taken decisive steps to prepare for the challenges ahead. Over more than two years, we implemented 36 measures across six key action fields:

• Improving grid planning and investment
• Accelerating grid expansion
• Advancing system operation
• Enabling efficient grid connections
• Making medium- and low-voltage grids observable and controllable
• Driving changes in regulatory frameworks

The program provided a structured approach with clear milestones, progress tracking, and strong cross-departmental collaboration. Supported by E-Bridge Consulting, we developed efficient solutions and process improvements to ensure N-ERGIE Netz is ready for the “new normal.”

Our joint efforts culminated in the closing event on July 11, 2025, but the journey continues – because the energy transition is an ongoing transformation.
