In Germany, Huawei is one of the largest suppliers for battery energy storage systems and has a substantial market reach. Customers approach Huawei to buy battery storage. In a complex market, customers have many other questions, and Huawei is being asked for advice. Huawei not only wants to supply hardware but also to equip its customers with the knowledge they need to successfully implement their business model – and thus contribute to Huawei’s long-term success. Of course, Huawei also wants to understand its customers’ market even better.

Huawei wants to give itself and its customers an overview of what is relevant to its business model. To this end, E-Bridge is creating a set of slides with relevant information on the battery market in Germany. The slide set contains information on the various revenue opportunities of a battery energy storage system (BESS), future trends such as co-location, innovation tenders or the capacity market. E-Bridge is also conducting comprehensive research into the current development of battery storage projects in Germany. Relevant information such as location, technical parameters, business models, project developers, operators and investors for existing and planned battery storage systems is analysed. Finally, E-Bridge produces a guide to the design of battery storage systems for various applications, including illustrative sample calculations.

E-Bridge provides Huawei with comprehensive information material on the German battery storage market, which Huawei can share with its customers and also use to improve its own understanding of the German market.
