E-Bridge supported an international investor during a regulatory due diligence with both economic and regulatory background information to perform an efficient and target due diligence. In the context of increasing installed capacities of renewable energies in Germany, the offshore wind energy concentrates most of the investments.

Due to this, new offshore grid connections are required, which shall be operated, for instance, by new Transmission System Operators (TSOs). Against this backdrop, E-Bridge was asked to support an international investor with regulatory background during a due diligence of a new offshore TSO.

E-Bridge provided beside a complete regulatory model review also several regulatory reports about red flags, regulatory due diligence aspect as well as specific questions.

Further the advisor team supports the investor with discussion background information and assistance in meeting with the management as well as the regulator. The outcome of the project was focused on a regulatory model reviews, red flag report as well as due diligence report in combination with specific regulatory and economic quick reports.
