“In Germany, the industry is working intensively on the further acceleration of grid connections and the digitalisation of electricity grids in order to promote the ramp-up of electromobility and make its full flexibility available to the energy system,” reported Henning Schuster at the SMATRICS E-Mobility Talk in Vienna last Thursday.
Together with Hauke Hinrichs from SMATRICS, Robert Spolwind from VERBUND AG and Barbara Schmidt from Oesterreichs Energie, they discussed, among other things, how e-vehicles can contribute to stabilising the power grid in the future as electricity storage systems.
