From Idea to Implementation: The First Local Energy Community in Bavaria Begins!

We are delighted to have co-developed the pilot project for the first local energy community in Bavaria together with Bayernwerk! From the initial idea to its realization, we have accompanied Bayernwerk on this exciting journey to advance “Energy Sharing” in Germany.

In the municipalities of Frensdorf and Pettstadt, a test is now being conducted to see how households respond to incentives from locally generated, low-cost electricity. An innovative combination of smart meters, real-time data, and dynamic price signals demonstrates how generation and consumption can be optimally coordinated on-site.
