SPIC intended to organize a workshop on the key developments in the German battery energy storage system (BESS) market. In advance, a comprehensive questionnaire was sent out, based on which the main content points of the workshop were determined.

E-Bridge prepared and conducted a workshop that enabled SPIC to obtain an overview of the most important questions regarding the German (large-scale) BESS market.

SPIC understands why Germany offers an attractive market for BESS with stable regulation. Market procurement of ancillary services offers additional revenue potential in the near future. Other market opportunities are understood and are going to be detailed in further workshops.
